School news • The 2009 Outstanding Alumni Award honorees for the School of Law at the University of Akron are: Bedford Biles, class of 1958; Nicholas T. George, class of 1970; Virginia Robinson, class of 1986; and Jeffrey Savarise, class of 1985. Elizabeth J. Stroble, UA's senior vice president, provost and chief operating officer, received an Honorary Alumni Award. Farhad B. Sethna received the John R. Quine Award as Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Member; Stefan Padfield, the Thomas G. Byers Memorial Award for Outstanding Faculty Publication; and T. Leigh Anenson, the Outstanding Alumni Publication Award.
